Special Levy
In 2002 the Rosanna Village traders requested the Banyule City Council support them in raising a special levy on businesses so that they could market and develop their centre.
This special levy has been in existence since 2003 and helps to make Rosanna Village the place it is today. With the support of the Banyule City Council who matches the special levy contribution from businesses dollar for dollar they have been able to grow the centre from strength to strength. These extra funds from Council have enabled the Rosanna Traders Association to manage the cleanliness, gardens and presentation so it is a lovely place to visit and discover as well as the marketing.
The Rosanna Village special levy is managed by the Rosanna Traders Association executive committee. They meet with the Centre Management regularly to plan and discuss all aspects of developing and improving Rosanna Village.
